Correcting Black Levels with the AVID Meridien Uncompressed Codec
While remastering the DVD of "His Last Request" I once again came across a technical problem to do with the way the AVID codec treats black levels. 26th Pordenone Silent Film Festival
We're delighted and honoured to announce that "His Last Request" will be shown at the 26th Pordenone Silent Film Festival in Italy next month. Pordenone is the most important and prestigious silent film festival in the world and our film will rub shoulders with the likes of Griffith, René Clair and Pabst. The screenings will feature live piano accompaniment!
